Brighter Days Senior Care is now hiring for a Director of Nursing position.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team. The Director of Nursing will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of nursing care, ensuring the highest level of quality and patient satisfaction. This is a leadership role that requires strong management skills and a deep understanding of nursing administration.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise nursing staff, ensuring proper staffing levels and adherence to policies and procedures
- Develop and implement systems to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of nursing care
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and resident rights
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and hospice care providers, to coordinate patient care
- Oversee the development and implementation of nursing care plans
- Monitor patient outcomes and make adjustments to care plans as necessary
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, promoting professional growth and development
Director of Nursing Requirements:
A licensed Registered Nurse, in good standing, issued by the NJ Board of Nursing
Graduate from an accredited college with a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in nursing or other health related field, with two years of professional experience as a RN in community health and/or home health
In lieu of a BS degree, the Director of Nursing may have 3 years of professional experience as a RN in community health and/or home health, with progressive nursing responsibilities
The Director of Nursing qualifications shall include experience in providing nursing services in a patient’s home environment, inclusive of an assisted living facility.
