Quality Control Job Summary
In this position, you will maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, finished products, and recording the results. Excellent communication skills are a must, as well as a keen attention to detail.
Ensure products meet specific quality standards throughout their handling and storage. Effective warehouse quality assurance helps reduce errors and discrepancies in inventory management, enhancing operational efficiency.
Must be able to stand for an extended period of time
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Be able to work independently and make good use of time
Must have basic computer skills and knowledge of warehouse management systems
Must be able to inspect product and ensure quality product is being shipped
Responsible for identifying any quantity discrepancies before orders leave the facility
Ability to identify and communicate non-conforming product or situations that could lead to undesirable results or client satisfaction concerns
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Bring forward opportunities for improvement
Ability to use a calculator along with basic math skills
