Recently formed start-up law firm (specializing in traffic-related and personal injury cases) seeks an associate to help handle the firm's fast-growing case load. Willing to train the right candidate. No prior experience necessary. A great opportunity for a newly admitted attorney to gain court experience.
The job will primarily consist of 2-4 court appearance per day, mainly in Southern and Central New Jersey. Occasional research and writing, but you will be at court and on the road most of the time. You will only have to come in to the office about one day per week, and you will have weekends off.
Must be licensed to practice law in New Jersey.
Must live in or near Camden or Burlington County or be willing to relocate to South Jersey.
Must have a reliable vehicle.
Foreign language skills a plus.
Pay for the job will be $50,000 to start, with a $10,000 raise every year, and the option to become a full partner at the firm after 5 years.
