Jan's Boutique, a contemporary fashion brand established in 1974 with deep roots in South Jersey is looking for a Gen Z Social Media Intern to help us amplify our social media presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation: Develop, shoot, and edit engaging content for our Instagram and TikTok platforms with Tik Tok being your emphasis, showcasing our unique fashionable dresses.
Trend Monitoring: Stay updated with the latest social media trends, including audio, to ensure our content is fresh, relevant, and on-brand/trendsetting.
Community Engagement: Help manage our social media account by interacting with our followers, responding to comments, and fostering a vibrant online community.
Ad Hoc Support: Assist with coordinating stylist and modeling shoots, ensuring everything runs smoothly and the brand's vision is brought to life.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of TikTok, and other social media platforms.
Must be o.k. with working in sales to better learn the product you will be promoting, although this is not a sales position it is required to better understand our mission with our clients and to know best what we need to promote.
Strong photography, videography, and editing skills, you will need to show our HR manager all the content you have created.
Creative, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
Interest in fashion and cultural preservation is a major plus.
