SolidSurface Designs is a well-established and respected custom fabricator and installer of Granite, Quartz, Solid Surface and other materials seeking a self-motivated individual to join its team as an Inventory Controller, Receiver and Material Handler
Primary Objective:
Manage and control inventory
Shipping and receiving
Stage material for production
Major Functions and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Matching POs with packing slips, tagging slabs/sheets, staging slabs/sheets, tagging remnants
Unloading and loading of slabs with use of slab clamp and forklift
Managing stone yard
Shop work as needed
Machine and shop maintenance
Qualifications:
Be dependable, motivated,independent and aggressive in completing your job responsibilities
Ability to perform heavy lifting
Ability to operate a forklift
Experience is desirable, but not required. Willing to train the right person
