The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented team player willing to help in all areas.
Duties include light bookkeeping, administrative support, telephone answering (from time to time)
and help with whatever needs doing.
Specific duties to include:
Bookkeeping - Entry of sales, accounts payable, cash receipts, cash disbursements
Phone answering in a polite and well-spoken manner directing calls to proper party.
Support for receiving mail and preparing outgoing mail.
Office maintenance – helping with light straightening up around the office.
Job requirements:
Prior bookkeeping experience is a huge plus (a basic understanding)
Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel. A basic working knowledge of the programs and general comfort with
computers.
Previously working in an office environment is a plus
Good organizational skills
Basic math skills
This job is for 3 full days per week in the office (days worked are somewhat flexible).
