Looking for film student or similar for documentary project about an autistic 17-year-old aspiring actor. The subject has faced many challenges due to his autism, including losing his father at the age of one and experiencing ostracism from his peers and some other community members due to being "different". He had delayed/impaired speech issues when he was younger, and still is not extremely verbaluntil he gets onstage. He loves an audience, and practices his craft by performing monologues from Disney animated classics. He is currently enrolled in acting classes at the Lee Strasberg Institute, has an agent, and is actively pursuing acting roles.
We would like someone to capture his story; the struggles and the triumphs he has experienced. The ideal candidate will have good writing/storytelling abilities along with videography/documentarian skills. Experience or interest in working with autistic individuals is a plus.
