We do structural steel and sheet metal work. We are looking for a SMAW Certified Field Welder. Experience in steel and sheet metal industry is a plus. We are a service station contractor. Duties:
-Operate engine driven welding machine, specialty tools, drills and manlift equipment and perform related duties.
-Have knowledge and experience in field welding and fabrication techniques.
-Perform weld test upon interview.
-Drive company truck.
-Perform and drive in a safe professional manner.
-Show up early. Early is on time & on time is late.
-Be able to travel 25-50% of the time.
Skills/Qualifications:
-AWS Certification in SMAW up to 1” is preferred but 3/8” is required
-Certification must include 1G, 2G, & 3G to show necessary experience
-Experience with engine driven welding machines
-Experience in structural repairs
-Power Tools Experience
