Master electrician wanted for 2-5 year contract position for existing electrical contracting company. The company is active, 1 of our partners (license holder) is leaving, so we need a new license holder.
We are flexible on the candidate's overall availability and location. The company is willing to work a with a remote candidate who works their own full-time day job, or a candidate who is an independent contractor who desires to maintain their current life-style. The company is also willing to work an arrangement with an existing one-man contractor who still would like to sell perform and pull permits on their own independent projects with the business permit.
Background: We are a small company that performs specialty design build, general electrical, and low voltage services in multiple states. Our services are turn-key, therefore we either self-perform or subcontract non-electrical services.

(65%) Commercial / multifamily electrical
(30%) 24v-5v DC work
(5%) Single Family Residential
70% of our permit filings are with drawings produced by our office, stamped by our PE.
20% of our permit filings are with drawings produced by our office, stamped by our Master Electrician.
10% of our permit filings are with 3rd party prints.
Company Details:
Service Per-Job (low voltage) income ranges $275-$1200
Construction / Install Per-Job income ranges from $5k-$150k.
Yearly revenue ranges $1.2m-$2m (70% NJ, varies by year)

Qualifications:
Must hold an individual electrical contractor license in NJ, and not actively holding a business permit, or willing and able to close existing business permit.
Must be willing to utilize their electrical contractors license, and take over as the contractor who's tied to our electrical business permit.
Must be willing and able to sign companies new permit applications, upon request and in a timely matter.
Must be willing and able to sign on companies existing permit applications.
Must be able to communicate with partners and staff via email, text message, and phone call.
Must be able to track individual project files and plans using a simple web-based or phone-based application.
Not technically complicated, business is already functional. Computer skills are negotiable, the company is willing to print, file, and/or mail all documents for licensees records.
Other active electrical contractor licenses held by the candidate are a plus and can be negotiated upon companies current and or future needs.
Compensation:
Compensation widely ranges. Our existing company operates at our current capacity through our retained workforce and owner, maintains quality control, and our jobs / exposure level are low in the commercial electrical space.
Therefore, we believe our licensee is fully capable of working the hours they choose to supervise this company through documentation, installation forms, blueprints, and video inspections at the licensees choosing.
Payment will be made on a salaried basis, at the licensees requested or negotiated yearly salary amount. The salary will be based on what the candidate is providing to the company (weekly time, quantity of licenses, contract length etc)
Licensee will be entitled to additional compensation if their expected to travel or do onsite visits, using a per-diem scale or reimbursement for expenses.
