SolidSurface Designs is a well-established and respected custom fabricator seeking a knowledgeable and self-motivated craftsperson to join its team.
The Stone Saw Operator will operate a Digital Stone Saw and Stone CNC Machine as well as be a backup fabrication person
Qualifications:
3+ years experience operating and maintaining a Sasso K600 and Northwood 3 axis TA512MT CNC Machine
2+ years experience in all functions of stone fabrication including cutting, edging, polishing and seaming
Understanding blade speeds and different saw blade types
Experience installing and wrapping stone to millwork
Ability to inspect and analyze quality of various stones
Ability to operate hand tools for tasks including sanding and grinding
Ability to accurately process project plans with little to no guidance
