We are currently looking to add a Groundsman to our team of tree care professionals. Your office is outdoors, and you get a new view every day!
Compensation
$18.00 - $25.00 (based on experience)
Job Duties
What You’ll Do:
Operate as an active crew member with supporting crew leader.
Assist climbers: Providing support to tree climbers by managing rigging ropes, preparing tools, and anticipating the climber's needs.
Site cleanup: Hauling brush, raking, and ensuring the job site is clean and free of hazards.
Equipment operation: Safely using tools and machinery like chainsaws, chippers, and stump grinders.
Equipment maintenance: Cleaning, sharpening, and maintaining tools and equipment.
Safety compliance: Following all safety protocols and wearing the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications

Physical strength: The job requires significant physical fitness to handle heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions.
Safety: A strong commitment to safety is crucial, as the work involves potentially dangerous tools and working at heights.
Teamwork: Being able to work effectively as part of a crew and communicate with team members is essential.
Basic knowledge: Familiarity with basic tree care, safety guidelines, and the proper use of tools like chainsaws is important. As you advance, you may learn more advanced skills like pruning and rigging.
License: Drivers license
Additional Information
Part time job - working 20-30 hrs per week.
