Job Title: Driver/Dispatcher - Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT)

Location: 2821 Haddonfield Rd, Pennsauken NJ 08110

Pay Rate: Starting at $18.00 per hour

Benefits: Paid Time Off, Sick Leave

Shift: Three rotating 12-hour workdays (4:00 AM - 4:30 PM) with two Saturdays per month included

Job Description:

We are seeking a versatile and dedicated individual to fill a dual role as a Driver/Dispatcher for our Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) team. This position requires flexibility to work both as a dispatcher and a driver, ensuring smooth operations even during low staff census periods. Key Responsibilities:

- Dispatch and manage daily trip assignments, adapting confidently to changes as needed.

- Step in as a driver to transport clients when required, ensuring safe and timely transport to medical appointments.

- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, transportation staff, and other stakeholders.

- Maintain meticulous attention to detail in both dispatching and driving roles.

- Uphold physical fitness standards to lift at least 50 pounds and perform tasks involving bending, squatting, and other physical activities.

- Complete training as a Certified Mobility Assistant Vehicle Operator to transport clients with mobility restrictions.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in a high call volume dispatch setting and/or driving role, preferably in medical transportation.

- Strong knowledge of the demographic area served.

- Clean criminal background and driving record with no at-fault accidents.

- Ability to pass a drug screening.

- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
