We are currently seeking a Job Digital Merchandiser, eCommerce. This is a remote position. Open to qualified candidates within the United States. You must be able to work in Eastern time. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW : The Digital Merchandiser, eCommerce is responsible for strategy and implementation of all promotions and marketing emails on the Red Cross eCommerce Storefront. Working both as an individual contributor and collaboratively with a team, this role is responsible for the development, strategy, execution and maintenance of site promotions, coupons, and marketing campaigns on the eCommerce Storefront. The position will require collaborating with various cross functional teams including (but not limited to), marketing, IT, marketing email, SEO, social media, and analytics. The ideal candidate for this role has a strong attention to detail, general marketing background, superior presentation, and communication skills, and demonstrated, hands-on experience managing digital channels. This position reports to Supervisor, eCommerce Solutions. WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE GOOD (Key Responsibilities):

Coordinates existing content updates with the various departments maintaining a presence on the Web.

Creates and publishes engaging textual, graphic and visual content.

Maintain a content publication calendar that schedules all aspects of the creation and delivery of content throughout the year.

Perform detailed content QA identifying inconsistencies and errors in grammar, spelling, syntax, and punctuation.

Develops and implements digital content from internal departments and field units.

Creates and provides content suggestions for Marketing opportunities and Special Projects.

Stay abreast of current best practices in the industry and review competitor websites to compare their activities with those of your company.

Owns the site promotion, marketing email and couponing for the entire Red Cross organization on the Red Cross Store, taking the process from conceptualization through development, UAT and post-production validation.

Strategize and set up A/B Testing on the Red Cross eCommerce Storefront as needed.

Pay Information: The salary range for this position is $51,120-$72,672 Note: that the American Red Cross sets salary ranges aligned to a specific geographic location in which the work is performed. The stated salary range in this posting is an average. The specific salary information will be shared at the time of phone screening based upon your location and qualifications. This job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: Education: Bachelor's degree requiredExperience: Minimum 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required. Experience with Photoshop, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and organizing content, writing and editing under deadlines.Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of web development and content management. Knowledge or pertinent web development software, and knowledge of internet technology and its related applications in a complex web site.

Ability to conceive fresh and appealing ideas for new content that establishes or supports the company's brand identity.

Strong skills in creating original content that targets a specific audience and meets company objective.

Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) specifically Content Libraries (including but not limited to: Folder IDs, Content Assets, Page Designer) and Marketing (included but not limited to: Coupons, Promotions, Campaigns, Content Slots, and A/B Testing)

Salesforce Marketing Cloud (specifically, development and modification of email templates)

Familiarity with Adobe AEM content management system

Familiarity with JIRA to support project management needs.

Experience working with Photoshop to create engaging marketing content.

Travel: May require a low (10%) amount of business travel.
