Scrum Master
The project is in the GRC domain (Governance, Risk and Compliance) ; a brand new implementation using RSA Archer vendor platform.
Advance JIRA; enable team-wide adoption of Agile principles


Required Qualifications
First level Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM I)
Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc. and using JIRA
Experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environment, familiar with Scrum principles and practices, with at least 3 years of Scrum Master Experience on a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burn down techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.)
Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations
5+ years of financial services industry experience
2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master for using 3rd party tools to build and deploy solutions
BS degree or higher in computer science, engineering, math, or similar information technology discipline.
Desired Qualifications
3+ years must include direct experience working in projects to support compliance and/or risk management business teams
Experience working on projects with extensive application workflow and data that support to the data design/mapping/modeling efforts
Familiarity with RSA Archer product use cases and data structures
Any experience/exposure to Archer or other GCR tools is a big plus.


Key responsibilities
Run daily, weekly and monthly agile rituals efficiently and strictly
Track work progress to identify blockages and developer divergence from allocated tasks
Collaborate with project team members while polices channels for submission of development work requests
Implement structure changes and strategy that are generated by Agile retrospectives
Ensure stories contain the right level of detail to support Dev
Guide and coach the team and organization to follow Agile/Scrum practices
Improve transparency within the team
Remove impediments
Be responsible for supporting and coaching the Product Owner on Agile/Scrum practices
