Location: Hybrid Trenton, NJ three days on-site and two days remote must be willing to come on-site or relocate, this is not open to remote or changing how many days it can be remote

Our client is looking for a Business Objects Reporting Consultant for a 12-month contract opportunity!

This is position will be hybrid in Trenton, NJ (two days remote and 3 days on-site)

Job Summary

This project will consist of, but not be limited to, documenting, and building ongoing state reform efforts to implement and coordinate high-quality system delivery. In this role, you will analyze, design, construct and test multiple subject areas across divisions and other state agencies for the development of a data driven decision process.


Duties & Responsibilities

• This role will gather, integrate, store, and report information across multiple agencies.
• You will be responsible for the output of all of the agencies reporting.
• Developing the solution will be consistent with Information management Framework and the shared IT Architecture.
• The BI Developer will be responsible to work with the Enterprise Data Warehouse Project Objectives and Reporting Requirements as documented by the Agency Business Analyst.
• BI Developer work includes, but is not limited to, the analysis of Reporting requirements, BI Universe design and development, BI user access and security administration, BI report development, BI User Manual development, Report Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
• The Universes are already created, but you may need to analyze for efficacy.
• Evaluate Documentation/Reporting Requirements
• Research BI Functionality for Specific Requirements
• Develop/Modify BI Universe
• Develop/Modify BI Reports
• Unit and User Acceptance Testing
• Mentor Agency Business Analyst on Report Functionality
• Project Documentation and Clean Up
• Knowledge Transfer of BI Universe and Reports to OIT BI Staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, or relevant field preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience software development lifecycle
• 3-5 Years Enterprise Data Warehouse/Data Mart environment utilizing upgraded Business Object XI
• Required
• 3-5 years' experience with Business Intelligence development in an enterprise data warehouse environment, including identifying user requirements.
• 3-5 years' experience using upgraded Business Objects XI in an Oracle hosted Data Warehouse
• 3-5 years' experience using Business Objects Designer and Web Intelligence including universe and report design, construction, and documentation.
