Position SummaryA career in Dispatch will provide the opportunity to coordinate all system dispatch activity for the day. This typically includes assisting in both back office and front office scheduling and emergency response.Essential Functions
Responsible for all dispatch and utility operations, relating to scheduled maintenance and emergency response.
Monitoring work and processes throughout the day and responding to leaks/emergencies within defined time parameters
Demand forecast planning and working resource management.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for long periods of time
High intensity work environment at times
Required Skills:
MS Office proficiency
Must be able to multi-task
Must demonstrate the ability to always remain flexible
Make timely and accurate decisions
Ability to work as part of a team
Work effectively with internal and external customers

Possess beginning working knowledge of dispatch and emergency response
Preferred:
BA/BS business related degree
Knowledge of the properties of natural gas or other utilities
Bi-lingual (Spanish/ English)
