We're setting the standard for healthier, safer, and more resilient built environments – and connecting the cold chain to improve the process of safely shipping and storing food and critical medical supplies.About This RoleThe Technical Value Stream Lead will help design and ensure adherence to the design of multiple global digital products being developed within Carrier Digital. This role will work on a range of hardware and software products critical to Carrier’s continued business growth. As a Technical Value Stream Lead, you will be the technical and functional leader of one or more scrum teams responsible for solving complex business and technology issues, from strategy to execution.Key Responsibilities

Experience mentoring, coaching, developing and inspiring people and teams.

Basic Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED with at least 10 years of software engineering experience

5+ years of experience in AWS architecture and development

10+ years of enterprise-grade software and/or product development experience

10+ years of hands-on experience with key software technologies such as: Linux, NodeJS, JavaScript, Java, CI/CD, etc.

10+ years of experience working with distributed systems.

10+ years of experience collaborating with UX design teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders

10+ years of experience leading and coordinating solution architects within the product team

10+ years of experience evaluating and working with key vendor partners

Preferred QualificationsOther qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:

Ability to conduct architecture reviews, cybersecurity reviews, code reviews, and provide technical feedback and guidance.

Expertise and domain knowledge in developing, maintaining reusable software services, infrastructure for promoting reuse of services/ components/ libraries.

Strong analytical, strategic, and creative problem-solving skills.

Strong experience in driving development process standardization and driving the process change across teams is essential.
