Description We are in search of a Tax Accountant to join our team in the CPA industry, based in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. You will be tasked with managing accounting software systems, auditing, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. This role offers an engaging short-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Utilize Accounting Software Systems for managing and processing financial data Leverage systems for tax research and compliance Perform accounting functions and financial statement preparation Manage and comply with entity formation regulations Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards Resolve financial inquiries and discrepancies promptly Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary Effectively use software for tax preparation and compliance Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy in financial data and procedures.Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is necessary Ability to efficiently perform Accounting Functions Experience in Auditing is a requirement Knowledge of Compliance regulations and standards Understanding of Entity Formation Ability to prepare and analyze Financial Statements Prior experience in a CPA firm or similar role is preferred CPA certification or relevant qualification will be an added advantage Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
