Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Whippany, New Jersey. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, your role will be centered around ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of invoices, managing accounts payable, and handling data entry tasks. This role plays an integral part in our team, ensuring our financial operations run smoothly.Responsibilities Efficiently process invoices, ensuring accurate coding Handle account reconciliation tasks to maintain accuracy in our financial records Regularly perform check runs to ensure timely payments Manage accounts payable, keeping track of all outstanding payments Conduct data entry tasks as required, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Utilize software such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various tasks Monitor customer credit records and take appropriate action when necessary Resolve any customer inquiries related to their accounts or invoices Maintain accurate records of all transactions and activities Work collaboratively with the team to improve financial processes and procedures. Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation Extensive experience with Accounts Payable (AP) Ability to perform Check Runs efficiently Experience in Coding Invoices Proficient in Data Entry tasks Skilled in Invoice Processing Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel Familiarity with Oracle ERP software Experience in using QuickBooks for financial management Proficiency in SAP software for business operations and customer relations.
