Job Description:
As a Toddler Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans that cater to the needs and interests of toddlers. You will provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment that encourages exploration and learning. Your role will involve working closely with parents, communicating regularly about their child’s progress, and collaborating with fellow staff members to ensure the highest quality of care and education.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lesson plans that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Create a positive, engaging, and safe classroom environment that fosters a love for learning.
Observe and assess each child's progress and development, providing feedback to parents and adapting teaching methods as needed.
Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians regarding their child's development and classroom experiences.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure consistency and support in the classroom.
Follow health and safety guidelines, including maintaining a clean and organized classroom.
Address any behavioral or developmental concerns with sensitivity and professionalism.
Qualifications:
CDA/CDC reccommended or willing to obtain
Experience with working with young children
Must be able to pass a background Check
