Program Manager

Candidate Profile

Experienced hardware/engineering PM (5+ years).

Strong technical fluency—mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering.

Proven success driving multi‑disciplinary R&D programs.

Highly organized, decisive, and capable of managing ambiguity.

Comfortable interfacing with major partners and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Own planning, scheduling, and execution for hardware R&D programs.

Drive task clarity and alignment across engineering disciplines.

Maintain Gantt schedules, resource plans, and milestone tracking.

Lead design reviews and requirements alignment.

Ensure manufacturing, testing, and field‑readiness considerations.

Coordinate between engineers, technicians, machinists, and vendors.

Interface with industry partners and stakeholders.

Manage SOWs, deliverables, and technical integration.

Plan procurement and long‑lead hardware schedules.

Identify technical and schedule risks early and drive mitigations.

Maintain program budgets and contribute to cost estimates.

Deliver executive updates to leadership and stakeholders.

Electrical Engineer

Pulsed Power / Power Electronics

Candidate Profile

3–7 years experience in pulsed power, power electronics, or high-voltage hardware.

Comfortable building and testing high-voltage circuits.

Strong understanding of switching devices, magnetics, and HV safety.

Hands-on, lab-focused engineer who likes to prototype and iterate.

Effective communicator who documents work clearly and collaborates well.

Core Responsibilities

Design pulsed-power circuits, magnetics, and energy storage subsystems.

Build and test HV/pulsed-power prototypes, instrumentation setups, and diagnostics.

Support cross-functional integration with mechanical and controls engineering.

Own documentation: schematics, test reports, design changes, and safety procedures.

Contribute to design reviews, risk assessments, and technical decision-making.

Select switching devices: IGBT, MOSFET, SiC/GaN, and pulse-related components.

Develop magnetics (transformers, inductors) and capacitor-based energy storage.

Perform circuit simulation and waveform analysis.

Build and characterize high-voltage test circuits and prototypes.

Implement instrumentation, waveform capture, and diagnostic analysis.

Execute safe HV test procedures and maintain compliance with lab standards.

Conduct root-cause analysis and implement hardware improvements.

Collaborate with ME teams on mechanical packaging and insulation strategies.

Support thermal, EMI/EMC, and reliability considerations.

AND

Electrical Technician

High Voltage / Pulsed Power / Power Electronics

Profile

3–7 years experience as an electrical or HV technician.

Comfortable working with ≥1 kV systems, power electronics, and pulsed-power hardware.

Strong troubleshooting, wiring, harnessing, and diagnostic skills.

Hands-on builder who works well in R&D environments.

Strong understanding of HV safety and electrical test practices.

Core Responsibilities

Assemble HV modules, capacitor banks, inductors, and pulsed-power subsystems.

Wire control panels, enclosures, harnesses, sensors, and high-energy circuits.

Perform HV and pulsed-power testing using oscilloscopes and HV probes.

Document assembly, updates, test results, issues, and modifications.

Implement proper insulation, grounding, and HV clearances.

Assist engineers in constructing switching circuits and pulse hardware.

Set up HV test equipment and instrumentation.

Capture waveforms, measure system behavior, and record data.

Troubleshoot prototype hardware and support root-cause analysis.

Maintain HV lab safety practices, equipment readiness, and calibration.
