Description Robert Half has partnered with a company in the Tax Consulting industry to recruit a stellar Bookkeeper for immediate hire. This Bookkeeper role requires candidates to be proficient with A/P, A/R, General ledger, and financial reporting. If this sounds like you, you may be the candidate this position requires. Located in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area, this Bookkeeper position is a long-term contract / temporary to hire opportunity that you do not want to miss.Your responsibilities
Oversee and maintain a well-run system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures
Appease accounts by balancing entries
Produce financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
Sustain collections of historical records by organizing documents
Outline Accounts Receivable invoices, reviewing payments received, and record deposits
Conduct and manage the general ledger
Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions Requirements - Practical knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
Bookkeeping experience
General familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)
Adeptness in journal entries
Demonstrated knowledge of bank reconciliations
Deep understanding of Quickbooks ProAdvisor
Expertise in Quickbooks Online
QuickBooks experience desired
Bookkeeping Functions experience
Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
Earlier experience working with various types of accounting software desired
