Life Mission Family Services is looking for caregivers with great vocation and compassion to provide direct care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assistance with personal care/grooming

• Monitoring health and safety

• Assistance with medication delivery

• Providing a great quality of life

• Data collection and documentation

• Housekeeping

• Transporting individuals to medical appointments and other activities out in the community

• Providing supervision and/or companionship while individuals are participating in leisure activities or out in the community

• Supporting individuals in reaching their personal goals.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• No prior experience is required

• Must have High School Diploma

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate personal or company vehicle

• Must have a reliable vehicle with valid insurance

• Must be able to pass Department of Health Caregiver Screening, criminal background check, fingerprint investigation

• Must be able to pass a drug test

• Must be able to lift 40lbs or more and be able to assist individuals with walkers, wheelchairs, hoyer lifts, and gait belts (training is provided for this)

• Must be able to type and navigate a web browser using company computer

• Being bilingual in Spanish is not a requirement, but is greatly beneficial
