6am to 2pm
2pm to 10pm
10pm to 6am
We are a mid-size, locally owned and operated senior assisted living facility. Experience working in a health setting with seniors preferred. Experience as lead and/or med assistance a plus.
Pay rate to start: $10.00+depending on experience. Benefits available.
Responsibilities:
Assist in providing medications to residents
Keep records updated in the medication assisting files
Order and receive medication deliveries
Keep medication files and medical records current and up to date
Keep regular, ongoing communication with the pharmacy, families, residents and assisted living management staff
Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette
Take telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to residents/physician/pharmacy calls
Measure vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and document all information in patient's charts
Keeps supplies on-hand through stock inventory; placing orders; verifying receipt
May perform other duties as assigned
Answer and respond immediately to resident calls
Assist residents with their activities of daily living
Check on residents every two hours and document and report findings
Escort residents to meals & activities
Assist with housekeeping tasks
Assist with residents' personal laundry
Establish and maintain good relationship with residents and their families
Respond to resident emergencies following proper residence policy and procedure
Qualifications:
High School Diploma; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must successfully complete the Ravenna Medication Management Training.
Ability to work as part of a team and to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively
Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy ("bedside manner")
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
Able to work with residents in a respectful, compassionate manner
