Position Summary:
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide direct primary care services, including health assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient education. The ideal candidate is clinical-minded, personable, and committed to promoting wellness and preventative care.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including histories and physical exams
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
Order and interpret diagnostic tests
Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans
Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care
Qualifications:
Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in New Mexico
National certification as a Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC)

BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills
