Counseling ABQ is a growing mental health agency expanding our team of professional clinicians. We provide counseling to individuals (children, adults and teens), couples and families in a private practice, outpatient setting.

Through experienced and compassionate counseling and mental health education, we help those who are struggling with mental and behavioral health issues to find answers, relief and permanent ways for coping with the challenges in life.
POSITION SUMMARY
Candidates must be currently licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC), licensed clinical social worker
(LCSW), either credentialed with area health plans or eligible for credentialing.
Responsibilities include the completion of therapeutic assessments, assess therapeutic needs, develop, update
and review treatment plans. Implement assessments and other responsibilities utilizing therapeutic treatment
modalities in a culturally competent and compassionate manner.
Must have excellent time management skills specific to completing intakes and assessments in timely manner.
Must have excellent written and verbal skills. Must be willing to provide written examples during the
interview process.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Intake and Assessment Responsibilities:
Prepare written assessments and treatment plans in an electronic behavioral health system
Provide culturally competent services to clients
Accurately assess client needs and strengths
Provide for safety and confidentiality of clients and staff
Complete and provide documentation and treatment plans as required to maintain insurance company
guidelines and program contracts
QUALIFICATIONS
Masters degree from an accredited University
Currently independently licensed in the State of New Mexico: LCSW or LPCC
Knowledge of and skills related to intakes and assessments, individual, couples and
family therapy
Knowledge of ethical and professional standards
Ability and willingness to function as active and cooperative member of a professional team
This position is a part-time contract position and the applicant must be flexible to meet client and program needs.
