Home Care Assistance provides non-medical care with our mission to Change the Way New Mexico Ages.ÂWe have multiple hourly, full-time, and live-in care staff opportunities available serving clients in the greater Albuquerque and surrounding areas. With our current openings, you will likely have the same client MondayÂ- Friday or Wednesday - Sunday with shifts of 8am-12pm or 1pm-5pm. We also have 6-8 hour shifts available and applicants should be able to commit to 30-45 hours per week, every week.ÂÂ
Responsibilities and Duties:
Our clients require assistance with their personal activities of daily living as well as housekeeping, transportation and companionship.Â

As a Home Care Assistance team member you canÂexpect to receive stable work assignments and even overtime offered to you weekly.Â
What to expect:
Your client will be a one-on-one assignment in the clients home. Many flexible client assignments are available to you each week- anywhere from 4 hr visits to 24 hr Live-in care visits.Â
Build meaningful relationships with care managers and other professionals in our local referral community
About our clients' current needs:
A 78-year-old male with Alzheimerâs who enjoys cooking.
An 82-year-old female who enjoys working in her garden, and listening to music
A 84-year-old whoÂenjoys conversations and needs help with meal preparation.
An 87-year-old female who suffered a stroke, needs assistance with showers and meal preparation.
Job requirements:
At least one year of caregiving prior experience or equivalent Nurses Aid or Medical Assistant training.
Proof of work eligibility
Must have valid Driverâs license, vehicle registration and auto insurance
Clean criminal background and driving record
Ability to transfer 150lb patient (with assistive devices)
