We’re hiring an experienced Assistant Foreman to support with daily operations, crew supervision, and quality control. This role is ideal for someone with deep hands-on knowledge of residential construction and leadership skills who is ready to take on a key role within our team.
Supervise the Work Crew
Assign tasks to individual crew members or teams based on project needs
-Monitor performance, productivity, and work progress
-Troubleshoot issues related to labor, equipment, or construction processes
-Train and mentor less experienced workers and ensure team development
-Maintain Safety Standards
Conduct safety inspections of job sites, tools, and equipment
-Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations
-Lead or participate in safety meetings and help train workers on safety procedures
-Logistics and Coordination
Manage materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and proper use
-Coordinate with subcontractors to align work schedules and expectations
-Assist with scheduling, adjusting work plans as needed to keep the project on track
Qualifications
10+ years of hands-on residential construction experience
-Strong knowledge of ground-up construction, framing, finish work, and general carpentry
-Reliable, organized, and able to lead a crew
-Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
-Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
