Independent, full-service and repair shop taking applications for Auto Tech helper/Assistant
Must have valid NM drivers license with good driving record and no restrictions.
Full time position. Must be available: (Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm) 1hr lunch
Duties include but not limited to:
Assisting Technicians with:
Oil changes
Tire rotations/balancing/repairs
Minor services to vehicles: Filters, wipers, bulbs, batteries, etc.
Looking up vehicle information and using scan tool to check codes
Vehicle maintenance and safety inspections/Photos
Moving/parking vehicles
Assisting shop with:
Shop/lot cleanup
Pickup parts from suppliers
Stocking parts
No tools are needed, uniforms provided, some experience helpful but must be willing to learn and follow instructions. Advancements are available for right candidate. Non-smoking shop environment.
