Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Drywall Hanger to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and restoration, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires hands-on experience in various aspects of drywall installation and finishing, ensuring high-quality workmanship on every project.
Duties
Install drywall sheets on walls and ceilings according to specifications and blueprints
Cut, fit, and finish drywall to ensure a seamless appearance
Apply joint tape and compound to seams, corners, and screw holes for a smooth finish
Perform plastering, caulking, and trim carpentry as needed
Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely project completion
Conduct repairs for water damage restoration and mold remediation as required
Assist in fixture installation, including doors and cabinetry
Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
Requirements
Proven experience in drywall hanging or related construction fields
Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
Familiarity with various construction techniques including framing, carpentry, plumbing, and masonry
Experience with metal stud framing, flooring installation, tile laying, and airless paint spraying is a plus
Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Previous experience in the restoration industry is highly desirable
