About the Job:
This is a contract position working onsite at a food production warehouse.
This position requires working overtime as needed including weekends if the need arises.
Duration: Until 6/5/24.
Steel-toe shoes are required (boots or sneakerstyle is fine).
Work Schedule:
"2-2-3 schedule" (1 week you work 2 days, off 2 and work 3. The other week you're off 2, work 2 and off 3)
Overnight position(6 pm to 6 am)
Excellent attendance ismandatory
Good attitude and 'working as a team' mentality isrequired!
Rate of Pay is $17/hr.
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for retrieving, moving, and stacking merchandise.
Loads, unloads, moves, stacks, and stages product using material handling equipment including forklifts.
Picks and packs orders throughout the warehouse.
Documents and maintains inventory, and ensures production area organization and cleanliness.
Maintains equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
Pallet building, and light assembly.
Performs labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking.
Efficiently stacks and stores the merchandise in the appropriate areas.
Prepares and stages skids for outbound shipments using different carriers.
Efficiently moves product from staging and/or storage areas into outbound trucks and trailers.
May unload inbound shipments safely and moves product to storage locations.
You will be required to pass drug testing and a background investigation, with no felony convictions, for this position.
What Experience/Qualifications Do You Need?
High school diploma or its equivalent is required
Intermediate current forklift skills and warehouse experience
EXCELLENT safety record
Someone who wants to learn,who is willing to take direction from others, safety conscious, has great attendance and a desire to build a career with this company.
Clamp, push-pull experience a plus
