COMPANY OVERVIEW:

This client is seeking a career-minded technician for a full time anticipated permanent position at a steadily growing company with many long term employees and excellent benefits.

This is a manufacturer of specialized electronic testing and measuring equipment used in Defense, Laboratories, Industrial Manufacturing, Healthcare, Utility, Research Laboratories, Aerospace, Electronics and other Manufacturing industries.

Client has 3 facilities you will support.

Work environment is clean, neat, well organized and laid out for comfortable working conditions.

Excellent attendance is essential. They don’t mandate OT, but is allowed if you need to do so in order to complete projects.

Maintenance Technician

Contract - to - Permanent

Job Duties:

Performing routine maintenance around the building.

Applying preventative measures to the building and equipment to reduce the risk of future problems.

Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.

Working on damaged electrical wiring and electrical troubleshooting when equipment is down.

Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures.

May work at different facilities as needed

Job Qualifications:

Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked.

Electrical wiring capabilities to manage problems with the building's electricity. Able to read electrical blueprints/schematics.

Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs, or other drainage problems.

Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working on the building.

Mechanically Inclined and can troubleshoot equipment.

Required:

High School Diploma

Reliable Transportation

Must be able to pass background check and drug screen

Pay: Anticipated Pay Rate: $25/hr + DOE

Work Schedule: M-F 8-5

Will issue uniforms

Location: Main Facility, but will work all three locations as needed.
