Small individually owned educational textbook company looking for a responsible and professional warehouse worker to work 30 to 35 hrs. a week. M-F between 8:00am-4:00pm. There are some slow periods throughout the year but most of the time it is very busy and requires stamina and speed. We are looking for someone long-term.
This individual must be dependable, hard-working, and able to lift 35-45 lb. boxes (filled with textbooks) repeatedly throughout the day. This individual will also work with another (part-time) warehouse workers + the warehouse supervisor.
Responsibilities:
Must be able dependable, reliable and consistent
Become oriented and familiar with all Hartman Products (textbooks and Instructional Materials)
Prepare Postal Service packages / letters
Operate meter machine / scale / label machine
Prepare samples/letters/mailings to be sent to customers
Sorting and stocking books on appropriate shelves
Pulling book orders and boxing them to be sent out vis UPS
Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse at all times
Work closely with Customer Service Reps.
Prepare Sales Reps. orders for out of state conferences
Qualifications include:
BE A TEAM PLAYER!
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day
Minimum of High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Ability to operate an electric stacker (we can train)
Clean driving record and reliable transportation
Must possess good computer, writing and math skills
Must have good communication skills
Training and orientation will be onsite
$17.00 per hour + EOY bonus
