Blackgarden Law is a boutique trademark, corporate, and securities firm with offices in New Mexico and Maryland.
This is a full-time role for an Associate Transactional Attorney at Blackgarden Law. This role is based in the Albuquerque-Santa Fe metropolitan area with flexibility for remote work. As an Associate Attorney, you will provide legal advice, conduct research, draft documents, negotiate contracts, and handle various related legal matters. This position could be in-person or hybrid for a candidate who can work in the Mountain time zone.
Qualifications:
At least two years of experience in business law, especially corporate law and securities law.
Strong document drafting skills.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school licensed to practice in New Mexico.
Experience with securities regulation, compliance, and corporate M&A is required.
Experience with trademark, intellectual property, and/or contract law is a plus.
Experience with craft beer and beverages or technology industries is a plus.
