DESCRIPTION

PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking an Assembly & Test Technician - Level 2 for an open position Albuquerque, NM.

Performs standard testing processes on a variety of equipment and records and analyzes results.

Requires knowledge of industry specific tests and testing equipment.

Requires an associate's degree and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Performs a variety of tasks.

Works under direct supervision.

A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Typically reports to a supervisor.

This position is responsible for performing technical hardware test and troubleshoot duties assigned to meet production requirements, flexing to different jobs to meet customer needs as the Business requires.

Additional Responsibilities:

Monitoring, assisting, and improving all aspects of Safety, Quality, Productivity, Inventory and Delivery in their work cell.

Will abide by all Safety requirements and work rules, adhere to Standard work, flex and learn new work assignments as directed to support business objectives.

Participate in daily Tier 1 meetings and perform periodic audits for 5S, HSE&F, ESD, and TPM. Immediately notify Group Leader, Supervisor and/or Engineer of any issues.

Perform Total Productive Maintenance, (TPM) on assigned equipment as required, ensure log entries are maintained.

Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Participate in Tier 1 Producibility, Safety, and General Continuous Improvement activities.

Participate in Tier 1 BIQ/RPS activities as required.

Work required daily and weekend overtime as required to meet SLD delivery dates.

Support all HOS Tier activities.

Ability to cross-train on a variety of electronic product groups.

QUALIFICATIONS

You Must Have:

Minimum 24 months of experience in assembly, test, and troubleshoot of electronic assemblies to component level.

Ability to interpret schematics, assembly drawings, component data sheets and follow advance sub-assembly and device level electronic and environmental test procedures and processes.

Ability to perform various mechanical assembly tasks, such as final device build operations.

High School Diploma or GED.

Associates degree in Electronics Preferred.

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual restrictions.
