Job Summary and Key Objectives
In search for a high-energy, hands-on Manufacturing Supervisor to direct & supervise our Pallet Assembly and shipping & receiving operations. Ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day activity and staffing for efficiency of manpower, machinery, and maximizing out-put production. The position will report to the COO.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
Supervises safety, quality, employee relations, visual controls and assembly performance measures.
Provides leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training, and development.
Provides leadership for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships.
Manages material requirements to increase inventory turns and reduce levels on hand.
Ensures compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time delivery.
Determines operations headcount needs and ensures compliance with company policy.
Provides direction, development and leadership to production assembly employees.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualification and Education
3 years’ experience in a Production Supervisor manufacturing environment preferred
Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures required.
Bi-lingual a plus (English & Spanish)
Computer skills: Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook
