Volt Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join a great team!As a MEA Testing technician you will work with research and productions departments in performing Fuel Cell Component testing. This position requires working wit various lab equipment and handling chemicals. In addition you will perform other duties related to the development and commercialization of fuel cell products.Specific Responsibilities Include:Maintaining a safe working environment and perform all work in accordance with EHS policies of the companyFollow established procedural and documentation practices for all work performed.Assemble and test membrane Electrode Assemblies (MEA's) or fuel cell stacks according to documented procedures or test requester specifications.Analyze fuel cell test data using spreadsheet templates and report results to requester and project manager.Checks for reproducible, accuracy and precision of data.Provide summary reports of data collectedIdentify quality issues and work with the engineering team to diagnose root causes and make improvements.Troubleshoot test equipment issues and perform routine/preventative maintenance.Work with equipment suppliers/vendors as needed to schedule preventative maintenance, calibrations or repairs.Requirements:High School Diploma or GED with at least 3 years of industrial/manufacturing or related experience.Technical Degree is a plus.Experience working in a laboratory or manufacturing environment where chemical handling and the use of personal protective equipment is required.Strong written and verbal communication skillsHigh Attention to detailProficient in Microsoft Office software applicationsProfessional attitude with the ability to work under minimal supervision and as a flexible team playerProven time management skills with the ability to adapt to change in a dynamic environment.Ability to develop expert knowledge of laboratory equipment and processes to collaborate in identifying, developing and implementing process improvements.Don't wait!
