Soilutions is adding First Contact Associate to our South Valley based team. Soilutions is New Mexico’s largest private compost company, diverting millions of pounds of organic waste from the landfill each year while providing high quality compost, soil and mulch products to our community. We are expanding rapidly and are excited to add a passionate, driven administrative professional to our growing team. Our First Contact Associate will be a key member of our staff, interacting with customers, operations team members and vendors.
As our First Contact Associate, you will assist in commercial and residential customer support on our site in the South Valley, interacting with customers in-person, greeting vehicles at the front entry. On a day-to-day basis, you will process sales tickets, assist in product pickup as needed and answer questions. You will work closely with our Office Manager to ensure we are providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
This is a part time, short term position. 7:45 am to 3pm Tuesday-Saturday. Duration is Mid February through Mid June. Compensation is $15.50 to $16.50 per hour depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
Use mobile POS system to take orders direct from customer, handle cash and credit payments, create invoices and sales receipts
Coordinate with in-house and third-party delivery personnel to ensure seamless residential and commercial customer experience

Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
Comfortable and proficient with computers and cash handling.
80% outside in all weather conditions.
Ability to stand long hours.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Bilingual preferred (English / Spanish).
