Job Description:
The Security Guard and Maintenance Worker will be responsible for ensuring the safety and cleanliness of our business premises. This includes deterring homeless individuals from occupying our property, addressing any undesirable behavior, and performing regular maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Patrol the exterior of the building to prevent unauthorized individuals from loitering or causing disturbances.
Address and manage situations involving homeless individuals in a respectful and effective manner.
Perform regular maintenance tasks, including power washing sidewalks and entryways.
Clean and remove any defecation, vomit, or trash from the premises.
Ensure that the entrance and surrounding areas are clean and presentable at all times.
Report any security or maintenance issues to the management promptly.
Collaborate with local authorities or services when necessary to address recurring issues.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in security or maintenance roles preferred.
Ability to handle confrontational situations calmly and effectively.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks such as power washing and trash removal.
Reliability and punctuality are essential.
