Business Development Representative

Paradigm is seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to support our client's Sales team on-site in Rio Rancho, NM. In this role you will qualify leads from marketing campaigns, contact potential customers through cold calls and emails, proactively seek new business opportunities, identify customer needs and suggest appropriate products and/or services, and keep full documentation of outbound activity and lead management.

Type: 12-Month Contract

Responsibilities of the Business Development Representative:

- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities

- Contact potential customers through cold calls and emails

- Partner with sales operations on ABM Outreach content creation and upkeep

- Present the client company to potential customers

- Keep impeccable documentation of outbound activity and lead management

- Identify customer needs and suggest appropriate products/services

- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market

- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and Account Executives

- Report to the Business Development Manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results

- Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans

- Inform customers of client company promotions and upgrades; may persuade customer to purchase extended products, services, supplies.

- Be responsible for pipeline and forecast in accordance with sales center business process.

- Establish a professional working relationship with the customer

- Align the account strategy and sales motions to maximize customer value

- As dictated by the selling model, establish partner contacts to share account information and seek joint opportunities that drive incremental revenue

- Attain quarterly targets and annual quota

Requirements

Our skills and experience wish list includes:

- Must be able to navigate Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and corresponding Microsoft Office/Office 365 Applications (Outlook/Excel/Word/PowerPoint/etc.).

- Two year university/Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.

- Typically 3+ years of experience in related field, preferable in IT.

- Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role

- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)

- Experience with CRM software (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, Sales Force)

- Experience with sales enablement Software (e.g. Outreach, Insides Sales)

- Familiarity with MS Suite

- Understanding of sales performance metrics

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

- Ability to deliver engaging presentations

- Capacity to learn and utilize product resources to meet job requirements.

- Consistently meet or exceed metrics related to outbound calls, open pipeline leads, and closed won revenue set by segment management.
