Jackalope has operated in New Mexico for more than 47 years. We are a unique and specialized retail store that sells home & garden decor.
We are looking for a professional and outgoing Warehouse Specialist for our Furniture & Rugs division. You are friendly and personable with a strong customer service focus.
Full-Time Position. Weekends required.
Part-time applicants will be considered (but must be willing to work weekends. Note: limited benefits for part-timers).
Job Responsibilities & Duties
Greet and Help customers with questions.
Manage Warehouse Inventory and Back Stock.
Receive deliveries and prepare sold merchandise for pick up.
Help customers select furniture and/or rugs. We will train you but previous sales experience is required.
Assemble, move and display furniture. Hang rugs on racks. (Heavy lifting required)
Create vignettes and merchandise furniture, rugs and decor to help increase sales.
Clean, dust, organize and set up the showroom.
Cross train in other departments.
All other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Must be able to stand on your feet most of the day
Must be able to routinely and repeatedly lift and carry 30-50 lbs.
Must be able to routinely and repeatedly push and move up to 75 lbs.
Must be a team player
Must be able to show up on time and when scheduled
Must be able to work Saturday and Sunday (and 3 other days)
Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
