Brewers Supply Group, Inc. (BSG) is a subsidiary of Rahr Corporation, a privately-held, family-owned company established in 1847 and headquartered in Shakopee, MN. BSG is comprised of six divisions: BSG CraftBrewing, BSG HandCraft, BSG Distilling, BSG Wine, BSG Hops and BSG Canada. BSG supports the craft beer, wine and distilling industries as a one-stop shop for industry related supplies and ingredients with warehouses located in California, Colorado, Georgia, Minnesota, Rhode Island, Texas, Washington and Canada (British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec). As our Sales Manager, your primary mission will be to lead the craft brewing sales effort for both current and new business opportunities by identifying, developing, and strengthening customer relationships. As theÂfearless hunter in the Four CornersÂRegion, yourÂterritory will include New Mexico, Utah, Arizona, and West Texas. Because this is a highly specializedÂrole, you willÂprovide technical assistance while generating sales for all products offered by BSGÂin the Craft Brewing segment.ÂWhile a fairly autonomous role,Âyou will be working closely with the BSG sales team, Sales Director, and Vice President. Ensuring orderly and consistent contact withÂcurrent and prospective BSG customers, you willÂproduce enough new profitable business to grow and increase the profit goals of the company.
Working out of your home office located near a major airport, you will be expected to travel approximately 60% of the timeÂto existing customers, prospective customers, trade shows, and BSGÂcompany locations. Essential to this opportunity will be your proven and documented experience in Craft Brewing, focused on breweries,Âtechnical ingredients and supplies, and home brewing. Your positive energy,Âpolished and engaging communication style, and your strong consultative sales experience withÂclients will be an added value. Your ability to develop customer relationships, execute key sales objectives and help brewingÂpartners achieve sales goals will be key to your success. Previous experience in the Craft BrewingÂindustry will be vital to your success as youÂidentify business opportunities and concerns with the ability to develop appropriate strategies to address each. This dynamic position requires a self-starting, motivated person who possesses strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with support personnel.
