Caregiver Needed for our senior mother in Corrales/Rio Rancho Area
Our family is seeking a reliable, compassionate, and responsible caregiver for our mother. This is a steady position for someone trustworthy and caring.
Schedule: 4 days per week (Tuesday through Friday) from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM (16 hours per week), plus availability for on-call assistance and possible overnight support on occasion.
Pay: $25.00 per hour to start.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Health Support:
Assistance with medication management.
Diabetes management (including testing, insulin administration, and symptom monitoring).
Household and Errands:
Light housekeeping.
Cooking and meal preparation.
Grocery shopping and running errands.
Driving to appointments and outings.
Personal Care:
Occasional assistance with personal grooming.
Gentle neck and shoulder massage (optional).
Requirements:
Certification/Experience: Experience with senior care is a plus, but the primary requirement is a caring nature and willingness to learn our mother's specific needs.
Physical Ability: Must have the ability to lift 60 pounds and assist with mobilization if needed.
Logistics: Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Background: Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
General: Comfortable with household tasks and respectful of personal routines, must be okay with small dog (aka the boss).
Preference: Prefer a female caregiver.
