Overview:
We are seeking an Auto Body Mechanic to join our family. If you are experienced in repairing collision damage to newer model vehicle bodies and have a passion for working on classic cars, we want to hear from you! The ideal candidate would be experienced in repairing and/or restoring vehicle bodies, including dent removal, panel replacement, frame alignment, and prepping for paint finishes not only to newer model vehicles, but would also specialize in older model vehicles. We do not work on a flat rate labor time guide, we instead provide full restoration services as well as repairs to our customers’ beloved rare, classic, and antique vehicles and hot rods. You will work closely with our painters and mechanics to ensure high-quality service in an amazing culture surrounded by newer model vehicles as well as old cars from the turn of the 20th century. This position is anything but routine as you will be hands on working with primarily collectible, antique and sports cars, making a dream come true for any true automotive enthusiast and a joy of being a part of bringing history back to life. Pay is DOE.
Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience in auto body customization with ability to work on older vehicles.
Familiarity with automotive software and diagnostic tools.
Advanced skills in welding and metal fabrication is an asset.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics and structures.
Attention to detail and precision in work.
Good communication skills for client interactions.
Physical stamina and manual dexterity.
Problem solving skills and creativity.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
