Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our family. If you are skilled and experienced in performing maintenance and repairs to newer model vehicles and have a passion for working on classic cars, we want to hear from you! We do not work on a flat rate labor time guide and provide full restoration services to customers’ beloved rare, classic, and antique vehicles and hot rods. You will work closely with our team of professional mechanics, paint and body technicians to ensure high-quality service in an amazing culture. Among the newer model vehicles that we service, we have vehicles from the 1930’s and up, typically ranging from the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s. This position is anything but routine as you will be hands on working with primarily collectibles, antiques and sports cars, making a dream come true for any true automotive enthusiast and experience the joy of being part of bringing history back to life. Pay is DOE. Walk ins are welcome.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify areas requiring maintenance or repair.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues.
Research, read and interpret schematics to understand vehicle systems and components.
Operate power tools safely and efficiently.
Utilize any electrical and welding skills to repair and fabricate vehicle parts and components.
Communicate and collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
Must have your own tools.
Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience of automotive service and repair with the ability to work on older vehicles.
Proficiency with vehicle maintenance shop tools and repair software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with automotive electrical systems.
The ability to weld and perform basic fabrication tasks is an asset.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills.
