Role Description
The Color Works inc. has an immediate job opening for an Automotive painter to perform all-purpose duties, which may include, but not limited to: Inspecting body repairs and prep for priming, Know proper corrosion preparation, Understandings correct blending techniques, Preparing color tint to match paint color, mixing paint colors and ensuring all formulations, preparations, top coating and curing, meet original equipment manufacturer recommended standards for proper application sequence, timing and materials usage, ensuring that all paint operations are complete, all masking is removed, and all prior paint-related disassembly have been reassembled prior to returning the vehicle to the body technician
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in autobody collision painting in a professional setting
Knowledge of vehicle repair techniques, and modern auto repair methods
Experience with paint preparation
Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with excellent communication skills
Applicant must possess a valid driver's license with insurance and be able to provide their own tools
I-car training a plus
