We are looking for a full-time, travel as needed, hard-working playground and shade installer to join our fast growing playground construction team. The ideal candidate has previous experience in playground construction or general construction, concrete, carpentry, landscaping, and/or you know your way around a skid steer. Job duties require site prep work in skid steer, layout and digging of footings, building rebar cages, assembly of commercial playground and shade equipment, installation of borders and wood fiber surfacing. The position is physical in nature and includes heavy lifting and digging at times. This is a full-time position which at times requires travel throughout the state of New Mexico. The crew always returns for weekends. It's common to work Monday-Friday with 40 hours plus.
Qualifications:
Applicant must live in Albuquerque / East Mountains or surrounding areas and must be able to commute to and from our yard in Cedar Crest everyday.
background in construction preferred
CPSI (Certified Playground Safety Inspector) certification is a huge plus!
OSHA 10/30 a plus
Familiar with power tools
Strong capacity to follow step by step installation instruction from the manufacturer
ability to work independently and manage time effectively
able to lift 75 plus pounds
Demonstrate team player
Some experience operating a skid steer
Possession of valid driver's license
