Job Description:
Floor Technician
Duties:
- Perform heavy lifting and moving of equipment and furniture as needed
- Utilize trim carpentry skills to install and repair baseboards, moldings, and other decorative elements
- Weld and plaster damaged areas to restore the integrity of the floor
- Frame carpentry work for new construction or remodeling projects
- Operate heavy equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and carpet extractors
- Interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and repair work
- Apply stucco and caulking to seal gaps and cracks in flooring materials
Experience:
- Previous experience in floor installation, repair, or maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of trim carpentry techniques and materials
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Familiarity with welding and plastering techniques for floor restoration
- Ability to interpret schematics and blueprints accurately
- Skilled in applying stucco and caulking for sealing purposes
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
