Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Journeyman to join our team. As an Electrical Journeyman, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes. You will work independently or as part of a team on a variety of projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency at all times.
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, components, and equipment.
Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
Perform electrical installations in new construction or renovation projects.
Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and regulations.
Collaborate with other trades and contractors on job sites as needed.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and hours worked.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Requirements:
Valid Electrical Journeyman license or certification.
3 years of experience working as an Electrical Journeyman or similar role.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments and conditions.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in commercial, industrial, or residential settings.
Additional certifications or training in specialized areas of electrical work.
Familiarity with electrical tools and equipment.
