Schriber Designs is a custom metal fabrication shop specializing in designing building and installing artistic metal pieces for architects, designers and homeowners looking for high end one-of-a-kind statement pieces.
We are hiring for an entry level installer. Someone that is interested in breaking into a new industry, trade or type of work.
Job duties for this role include assisting our lead installer in the service and/or installation of residential or commercial doors, windows and custom metal cabinetry and furniture while learning from the lead installer on the job.
Our Ideal candidate will have some construction experience, be comfortable with measuring, using power tools and lifting, pushing and pulling 50lbs+ on a regular basis. Must be willing to travel around the Albuquerque, Los Lunas and Santa Fe metro areas regularly with the potential to travel to Arizona. Understanding and experience working with metal including cutting, welding, and finishing is a plus but not necessary. Great communication skills as well as an interest in learning while working in a team atmosphere is a must.
